VINTAGE NURSE UNIFORM PHILADELPHIA HOSPITAL 1930S 1940s RED CROSS? MISS HELLER
Many items we offer are pre-owned and may show signs of gentle use. We try to examine all pieces and note any issues. We describe to the best of our ability, but pleasereview the photos closely and ask all questions prior to the final day of offerding to ensure that you are satisfied with your purchase.Any major flaws - holes, stains, non-working or missing parts- will be noted. From a smoke-free home with anon-shedding, hypo-allergenic dog.
You are offerding onavintage, short-sleeved nurse's dress in blue and white ticking, and an apron skirt from the Hospital Clothing Company, 1107 Walnut St., Philadelphia, PA.White over-skirt is a bit yellowed. Only other flaw is a 1/8" diameter hole on front of skirt, about 7" from hem, but that gets covered by the apron. See close-up photo."Miss Heller" is embroidered on the right sleeve cuff. The apron has the name Barbara Allen, and a tag C.D. Williams & Co., 246 So. 11th Street, Phila., PA. I believe at one time there was a neckerchief and bib part to the apron, because of the buttonholes on the white skirt and dress neck, but they have been lost. Feels like cotton but fabric content is not marked. Please check measurements to ensure proper style="text-align: center;">17" from back collar to waist
13" across waistband lying flat
18.5" across chest from armpit to armpit
27" from waist to hem of dress skirt
