- Use in conjunction with a carbon filter/fan combo to utilize your carbon filter more efficiently/effectively. Carbon Filters have variable CFM ratings and each garden needs a different amount of air filtration. Using this Fan Speed Control with your carbon filter/ fan combo allows you to precisely control the air flow through the filter to get the optimum results.

- Quiet your fan! High Velocity Fans can be a little too noisy for some growers. At full speed a high velocity fan can have high decibel levels (noisy). Getting an "oversized" fan (largersize than you may need)for your space and using this Fan Speed Controlleronthe Low or Medium settingwillnoticably lower the decibel of the fan (and theair output).Having a larger fan at a lower speed settingallows growers to get the same air flow as the smaller fan but withmuch less noise.
