Up for offerding in this sale is a group of assorted M1 carbine parts that I have acquired over the years. This group includes a new recoil spring, a cast postwar recoil plate with screw, USGI buttplate with screw, USGI type 3 barrel band, D-Tip sling and other associated parts. The sling is probably a reproduction, but looks good, other than a few frayed threads here and there. The barrel band has some surface rust on it while the metal handguard shows some small pitting, but both are in perfectly usable condition. I am not sure of the origin of the recoil spring. I\'ve recently seen two online, but with no additional info listed. The buttplate is probably Winchester, but is in poor condition and will need to be manipulated some to make it fit correctly.
