The original shellac finish on the cabinet displays well and is almost entirely intact, with just light thinning here and there and the banner decal looks great with minimal wear. The bedplate and top works are in nice, with excellent nickel plating, and the motor and 2/4 minute gearing are very quiet. The motorwill easilyplay through a couple of cylinders with a full winding.
The original pristine Model H 4-minute reproducersounds great thanks to a cleaning an rebuild with fresh gaskets.
The 14\" black and brass horn is of modernmanufacture, approximating an original horn, and displays well with the original machine.
I am including nice 4-minute Edison Amberol (Black Wax) andcelluloid(an early plastic) cylinder recordsfor the winning buyer\'s immediate enjoyment. This machine will safely playallstandard-sized Black Wax and celluloid 4-minute cylinder phonograph records and allcelluloid 2-minuterecords. Countless cylinders are available on and other sites. Simple instructions will be included for ease of setup and operation if desired.
