Very rare 1-tube radio amplifier by Eugene T. Turney Laboratories, Inc., Newark, N.J., manufactured circa 1922. I have been unable to find any referenceto the existence of anotherunit, and the only information I could find on this amplifier was an advertisment in a 1922 Radio World magazine which mentions the amplifier but gives little detail. The matching receiver would have been the Turney Monoplex, and I was only able to find one example of this which was sold at the Ernie Hite sale in 2010 (see last picture).

I am not sure that the internal wiring is 100% correct as some was missing when I received the unit. Also the left hand jack socket is not presently connected.

Comes with a nice brass based tipped tube, which is dud.
