This is a very sweet little pair of beaded miniature moccasins which I purchased on a trip through the Pineridge and Rosebud Reservations in South Dakota in the 1960\'s. They were old then! The patina on the beads and leather certainly show age. My guess would be 1940\'s or earlier. The right moccasin measures 2 5/8 inches long and 7/8 inch wide at the widest part measuring on the sole. The left moccasin is slightly smaller 2 7/16 inches long and 15/16 inches wide. A very cute, one of a kind vintage piece of native beadwork.
