In this particular sale, you will be offerding on aVictor Victrola Model VV-VIII. Original, as far as I can tell, it appears to be complete less the two screws that hold the crank plate in place as shown in picture 12. Featuring a number of 110650, I believe that this dates from 1919. Tested, some slight tinkering will be needed for flawless operation. The table needs a push to get started as it does drag a bit. Additionally with some wear to the case as shown, this is still a sweet piece. I have even found some needles to be included with this machine. Not an expert in any way, I have done no restoration to this item. Again, with some tinkering by an expert, this machine will certainly run for another 100 years.
Please note that this is a heavy item! I have estimated the shipping weight to be nearly 50 pounds. Additionally, due to the age of this machine, I will be having this item professionally wrapped, so you can rest assured of receiving this item as pictured. To defray the cost of this on my end, I have added a $25 handling charge to the shipping price. Of course, pick-up is available, or delivery could be arranged for a fee. Keep in mind that this item is located in southern New Hampshire, approximately 75 minutes from Boston. If you would like to check a shipping quote prior to offerding, please send along a message, including your zip code.
Please look closely at the photos included with this listing for a true view of what you will be receiving if you are the lucky high buyer as I consider them part of the description.
Please e-mail with any questions, problems, or concerns before offerding and I will be happy to assist.
As always best of luck and happy offerding!!!
I am more than happy to send additional photos as well as combine shipping on multiple purchases.
