VICTOR TALKING MACHINE GRAMOPHONE PHONOGRAPH TYPE M MONARCH WITH RIDGED TONE ARM!

Here is an extremely rare Victor phonograph that is rarely encountered and was made for only a short time in 1902! This excellent ridged tone arm marked the development of the first free swinging tone arm on a phonograph where records could be played without the entire front mount horn being pivoted by a recordings fragile grooves. These are also known as scissor tone arms as well. The unit is an excellent example of this rare Victor transition machine as few Monarch machines were bought in 1902 with this arm. Also, the machine is entirely original with untouched original finish, making it picky collector perfect. The brass bell horn is in excellent condition with a very good dog decal. The Concert reproducer sound box works very well and plays loudly. Any kind of 78 RPM record can be played on it that was made between 1900 and 1930, but I\'m including a nice group of early vintage records made around 1905.
