The Navy Pilot’s Survival knife was developed by the NAVY weapons bureau and Marbles Arms corp.
in 1957, as a key weapon for the Navy Air Corps. It was redesigned in 1962 (shortened by one inch).
The short version was made by Camillus and Milpar. — notes from book III by M. H.Cole.
Has some Verdigris around the brass. (This is the green stuff. It’s caused from a chemical reaction between the rivets and the chemical (acetic acid) used in the leather tanning process).
The snap fastener that holds the knife into the sheath is broken -- missing its snap back.
