Up for sale is a Vietnam-issue lightweight rucksack without the frame. Originally developed for arctic operations, the lightweight rucksack is made of water resistant OG shade 106 nylon, and includes a two externally mounted side pockets, a center-mounted pocket, 4 double-eyelet side-mounted web tabs for the attachment of equipment, a large center pocket for equipment storage, and a top flap storage pocket for towels, maps, etc., as well as \"criss-cross\" straps to attach M14/M16A1 rifles, ski poles, etc. Unfortunately, this rucksack does not include the frame, but may be attached to a standard rucksack frame using the attachment straps. As with most equipment from this era, this is not perfect and has some wear, but nothing that renders any part of the rucksack unserviceable. This is a great example of a Vietnam-era load carrying rucksack that will be a great addition to your collection!
