This combination M7 Bauer Ordnance Company (BOC) Knife together with an U.S. M8A1 Scabbard PWH (Pennsylvania Working Home; said to be representation for the Pennsylvania Working Home for Blind Men) is one of the several personal military mementos coming from a bygone era. Belt-mountable, green composite scabbard can be slipped over a web belt using the M1910 bent wire hook available. The metal throat mount is stamped \"U.S. M8A1\". The integral green riveted webbing forms a belt loop. It also has two webbing straps which fold over this military knife to secure it with a press quick-open snap button which securely holds the knife in place.
The design of this military knife has endured several types of military conflicts. The M7 Military Knife was produced by BOC to handle the needs that came with US involvement in the Vietnam War.
