...Here is a wonderful pair of vintage\"Turn of the Century\",Black Leather Lace Up High Top Shoes/Boots,
withwhat appear to be the original laces.
There is nolabel, but the are a very narrow, small size. (see actual measurements below).
Thecolor is black with no significant shading or stains.
We believethey date backto theearly 1900\'s, perhaps even a bit earlier.
GUARANTEED VINTAGE AND IN \"*VERY GOOD\" PREOWNED VINTAGE CONDITION.
*We examined the items closely and found, the inside lining is deteriorating at the tops of the shoes.
(see photos 7 &8).
(we suggest, using Dr. Scholl\'s adhesive moleskin, cut to fit around the inside top.
This would seal the leather and stop further deterioration, also help prevent chafing at the cuff line).
Some edge wear to the sides of the soles, nothing significant. (see close up on photo 6).
Noother significant issues noted.
Although vintage, theleather seems supple and strong, with no indication of dry rot.
No musty or unpleasant odors.
Laces appear original.
We are unaware of any repairs or restorations\" .

Not labeled as to size, it looks to be a small to average size, but please use theactual measurements below,
since vintagegarmentsizes often run smaller than today\'s fashions.

These are the measurements of the shoes.
9 1/2 inches from heel to toe.
2 1/2 inches across at the ball, (widest part of the foot).
heel is 2 1/2 inches high.
9 inches from heel to top at the back.
tightly laced the ankle circumference would be 8 inches, of course relaxing the laces would allow for a much wider ankle and lower calf.
