This vintage 1920s \"New Willard Sewing Machine\" is enclosed in a beautiful tiger oak cabinet. The sewing machine no longer can be lifted out of the cabinet when the top is lifted because the chord broke due to its age I suppose. However, the cabinet is in great shape and could be used as a cabinet or side table. The sewing machine has some rust on it and is not connected to the peddle. The peddle is in good shape. Not sure, but maybe this could be used for parts, or the whole thing could be repaired and used as a treadle sewing machine. I used this mostly as a TV table and a cabinet. I used it for sewing once to try it out and it worked fine.
Included is the Operators Manual for the \"New Willard Sewing Machine\", a box of attachments, a small bobbin and bobbin case, a small oil can, a Vogue book of Practical Dressmaking (1926), a book of Simplified Sewing (1928), an old pattern and some notes written by the seamstress.
The cabinet dimensions are: height 29 1/2\", depth 17 1/2\", width 22 1/2\".
