MOVING SALE!!!! My Mother was a big time doll collector. She purchased and collected dolls from many of the experts that have written reference books. Some of her dolls have even been pictured in these books. I have periodically sold some of her collection, but this time I am moving and really don\'t want to pack them up yet again. Some of her dolls were mint, while others were \"projects.\" We bought what we could afford at the time, so they are a \"mixed bag.\" I have bisque, compo, and hard plastic that I will be listing. Lots of Patsy family, Ideal, Shirley Temple, and baby dolls. So that being said, here goes...
Good condition (not mint, not excellent). 1931 Ideal Tickletoes. 15 inches tall. HAS WONDERFUL FLIRTY EYES!!! Cloth body, composition head, and rubber arms. Cloth body is excellent, nice and firm. Rubber arms are in poor condition (cracked, hardened, some fingers are just nubs). Composition head is very good. No crazing, a few tiny paint chips on face, rubs on head. The compo is a nice color, has nicely painted facial features (brows, lips). Her best feature are those flirty yes that move from side to side!!! Eyes are nice and clear, not yellow or crazed. Embossed \"Ideal\" on back of the head. I am fairly certain that the dress and bonnet are original. Clothing is clean, no spots or smells. Need a few small mends. She is not perfect, but a wonderful old baby doll nonetheless!
