For your consideration from days gone by is a vintage circa 1948 Trav-ler model 5028-A superheterodyne (3-way) portable AM radio. Great condition for it\'s age. the wood housing is solid and in tact, the faux snakeskin / leather covering is all there and in tact (with the usual wear) The leather handle appears to be brittle but it also is still in tact. The power cord was in extremely bad condition, so I removed it. (it will however be included with the radio) I then used a 110 jumper and connected the radio to power, after a brief period shazam I was listening to AM radio. I did not attempt to use the battery options to see if they work. The dimensions are 8 3/4\" wide, by 5\" tall (not including the handle) and 5\" from to back. This one is a must have for the vintage radio collector. A picture is worth a thousand words please review them all prior to purchase.
