This is a VERY COOL vintage VENDO COCA COLA VENDING MACHINE # VE 853 dated AUGUST 2, 1949. The COKE MACHINE measures approximately 5 FEET TALL x 26 3/4\" WIDE x 16\" DEEP.It is a DARK RED with WHITE LETTERING. The machine was in my husband\'s office until he retired 15 years ago. It has been stored since that time. When the machine was still in his office, it quit cooling, and was unplugged. We have not used it since then.
The COKE MACHINEhas a number of labels with loading details, patent pending numbers, model number, serial number, etc. It has two keys. When it is plugged in, the COKE MACHINE compressor and fan both come on. It does not cool down, which could be an issue with Freon.
The COKE MACHINE is in VERY GOOD CONDITION, especially given its age. The paint looks great and DOES NOTshow a great deal of wear. The white lettering is bright and the labels are readable. Most of them are in VERY GOOD condition. The machine looks great and it would make a fabulous addition to your collection or to restore / display.
