Vintage 1950\'s hand made1/4 1/2 micro midget go kart. This is a very cool old piece of kart racing history. Hand made tube frame with a complete aircraft aluminum body. This is someone\'s early foray into quarter/half midget racing. Kart is from Texas but I do not have any better history than that. Powered by an old McCulloch two man chainsaw motor. Ibelieve this is an old McCulloch 99 model engine. Two stroke 161cc engine built from 1954-1963. Engine still turns over and has good compression but I have not personally started it. The former owner told me he ran it about 5 years ago. This would be a great display piece or just a cool piece of Texas folk art. It would not take much to get this running.
