Vintage 1950\'s Retro Westinghouse Food File Refrigerator White Turquoise Blue:
$499.99

1950\'s Westinghouse Frost Free \"Food File\" RefrigeratorWhite exterior with blue trim next to handle and with white and blue interior.I believe this model is from 1954 tag inside says MODEL DFG87 and UNIT MODEL NF8Interior is in very good vintage condition. Has Frost Free freezer compartment, Butter Keeper compartment, Meat Keeper drawer, Humidrawer, 2 door shelves that hold 1 dozen eggs each, one door shelf with metal rail to hold taller items, one shallow door shelf, and one deep Fruit compartment/shelf on the door.It stands about 57 5/8\" tall, 28\" wide and with the door and back \"coil\" plate it is about 28\"(maybe 29\" with the handle) Deep. With out the door on the front it is about 24\" deep. The interior space is 16\" deep x 21 1/2\" wide x 40\" tall including the freezer and bottom drawerThere is a crack in the front of the freezer compartment (does not go all the way through the door, just the outer layer) and a crack in the center of the fruit compartment. Also a small piece of acrylic is missing from the side of one of the egg shelves where the screw attachesto the door(still holds the screw). There is some rust on the bottom of the door and on the bottom of one of the sides. The door is currently off. Please look at all pictures and if you need more, don\'t hesitate to ask. It doesget cold when plugged in. When plugged in with the door on, it gets very cold to below freezing in the main compartment. It will need an adjustment of some sort. The cord should be replaced before use as its casing is cracked. It could probably use a new paint job. When these Retro fridges are fully restored they sell for as much as $3,000 to $5,800!
