You are looking at an older and beautiful Snyder DM-1 model desk stand made with a heavy cast iron base and original chrome stem / riser. This desk stand from the 1950\'s era is perfect for just about any screw on mic or mic clip you can think of. The style is very similar to the earlier 30\'s era stands with it\'s 3 tier \"waterfall\" design.

The model # of this mic was a mystery to me for some time but I can say with confidence now that it\'s a DM-1 model.

This stand is built like a tank and looks likes great.

The original black paint is damn near perfect as is the chrome stem. There are just lite rust stains on the bottom which is always a bonus. Total length is 7 inches high x 4 3/4 inches wide and weighs 2 pounds.

Please let the detailed pics be your guide. The original green felt pads are still present and in good condition. The stand will accept just about any microphone with the exception of a few Astatic mics due to their unusual 3 pin attachment. All E.V, Shure and Turner mics will screw on however. This stand has the universal 5/8 thread.

This is perfect for small to medium sized microphones.This stand is an easy 8 on a scale of 10.
