Vintage Mount Vernon Bach Model 16 Tromboneserial 5xxx
The brass instruments from Bach during this period was produced in a great area of US manufacturing and Bach used the hands of superior craftsman and established themselves as a leader. This trombone utilizes a medium large duo bore ( .490/.510). The sound is full and rich with a lyrical quality about it and strong projection. The main slide is smooth and all tuning slides are free and functional. Cosmetic blemishes include scratches, missing lacquer and small indentations. There are no large dents and as mentioned above, a very good playing professional trombone. Included is a Bach 7C mouthpiece and a vintage case in very used condition but does hold the trombone nicely and has a solid handle.
