This is an exquisite piece which is not only in wonderful condition, but is polished and very clean. Very Nice Condition. No visible chips, cracks, scratches or defects of any kind. The Brass Finial opens and closes the four doors simultaneously. The musical tune \"More\" plays when the doors are opened and stops when they are closed. The doors open 180 degrees to fully expose the red felted compartments revealing whatever surprises have been hidden. The winding mechanism is at the base and is in fully working condition. A stunning centerpiece for any area.

These unique music boxes are rare and coveted mid 20th Century pieces which are usually one of a kind based on the materials used, colors and music played. They are very rich and ornate, and have a look of a bygone era. This piece is exceptional and has been preserved with great care.
