1960s Angostura Bitters “Oak Oak Rum” Bottle Collectible.

Empty Angostura Bitters that Does Not Contain Any Liquor.If not for a collection it can be used to create an art deco candle holder or lamp base or a just as a decanter.


This bottle is in its original un-restored condition. The very desirable metal screw-on cap and the original hat are intact and included. The screw-on cap has printed in black “ANGOSTURA TRINIDAD” on its top.


This is an empty 26-2/3 Br. Fl. Oz. (or 4/5 U.S. Qt. or about 750ml.) Angostura Bitters “Old Oak Rum” Liquor bottle made for Angostura Bitter’s Trinidad Distillers Limited that is in great vintage condition!


This Bottle is cast glass and is in the shape of a Limbo drummer, wearing the signature multi-colored puffy sleeves and a gold-medallion necklace.

  • RATED Condition:07/10 EX- (EXCELLENT MINUS) Signs of Use but Glass free of chips, cracks and abrasions. Bottom of bottle is free of abrasions. Minus “OLD OAK RUM” label. Some flaking of the enamel paint but that is to be expected. 8 spots on the left should and 16 spots on the right shoulders and some spots on the hands and knees where the enamel paint has flaked off.Straightforward to fix or keep as is.See Photos.

It got into the rum business in 1947 through its production company, Trinidad Distillers Limited on a major scale.By the end of 1960, the Company had extended distribution of its products to over 140 countries across the world, becoming well known internationally for its high quality rums in addition to the now world famous Angostura aromatic bitters.

    Today’s production capacity is over 65,000 litres of alcohol/day. There are 6 ageing warehouses with a total capacity of 80,000 casks.They bottle over 600, 000 cases of rum/year. Exports are mainly to the US, UK, Europe and the rest of the Caribbean.
