1961 Guild X150 Savoy Electric archtop with Franz pickup. The guitar is 100% original. It comes in a clean period correct black hard case which is not original but fits like a glove. The guitar is definitely collector grade. Everything works as it should and the body is very clean. Check the photos carefully. The guitar is as clean as you will find one over 50 years old. It only shows light playwear. The blond finish is gorgeous. All electronics are original and work perfectly. All the binding is perfect. The Franz sounds wonderful and for a single pickup guitar gives you a wide range of sounds using the tone knob. You can get a nice smooth woody tone all the way to a sharp treble tone with just the one pickup.There is no headstock laminate shrinkage either. The action is nice and low with plenty of room to lower the bridge if needed. The neck is straight and the frets are a medium gauge and show little wear. The nut width is 1 11/16ths wide.
