The Originalowner is offering this is beautiful AUTHENTIC Patti Playpal doll, with longstraight brunette hair and bangs without tangles. She stands 34.5” tall and uprighton her own. On the back of her neck, under her long hair, is her maker’s marking:Ideal Doll G-35.
She is in VeryGood Condition. The head was repaired by aprofessional doll house retailer this year to allow the head to be straight onthe body without falling forward or backward. Here are some additional specifics:
Body andlegs: A few minor scratches,nothing major. Legs move independently of each other. Some areas of her skin on her body and neck have a slight gray cast/ hue and in between the legs are dark areas. see images. She’s notbeen professionally cleaned.
Armsand Hands: Arms move independently.One arm has turned yellow in color compared to the other arm which is pink from theshoulder to the wrist. Fingers are intact. Finger nail beds have some very slight dirt but thinking it can be cleanedprofessionally to remove.See image.
Face: She has a beautiful face with blue eyes, fullblack eyelashes (her eyes close shut when she is laid down flat). One eye appears to be more blue than the other. One eye has some scratches on it and the other has a black line going across the white of the eye. Each eyelidhas a area where the skin colored paint on the lid has worn off. She has beautiful pink lips and pinkblush cheeks. One cheek shows some tiny brown dots, and the other cheek shows a small area where theblush is missing. See images for detail.
Age: Purchased new in 1961 as a holidaygift and comes from one household, non- smoking.
Clothing: The only original clothing that we are awareof is the socks and shoes. The socks have yellowed and there looks to be two small holes starting on one sock. One shoe has a crackon the bottom, and the other shoe has cracked on the bottom and is missing thefront bottom tip of the shoe. See image. The dress she is wearing is vintage, but not what she wore when she was brand new.
