VINTAGE 1971 MARTIN D-28 DARK ROSEWOOD GUITAR!!!
This guitar is in very good condition overall, it has only very slightnicks & scratches. This has plenty of amazing tone, and it plays great with the action just where most would like it.. This is a real 1971 Martin D28 it is not a reissue it is actually a 45 year old Martin in Very Good condition. It has some neck finish wear, I think the frets are original with average to moderate wear in the first few positions.
It has some Very Beautiful dark rosewood which based on the date is likely Indian but it does not look like any Indian rosewood I have ever seen and it has been said that a few D28 guitars made after 1969 did have Brazilian Rosewood. Take a look at the pictures I can tell you this it is and early 1971 guitar based on the serial number. You decide, eitherway this sounds great and looks beautiful. I have had a chance to show this to some other guitar experts and they felt as I do this is possibly be a Brazilian Rosewood bodied guitar. If it is Brazilian Rosewood this one is a bargain.

Their are no added holes in the guitar. It does have an added strap button at the neck. The neck is about 1 11/16\" + at the nut. Original Grover tuners and I assume original frets. Action is about 1/8\" on the bass side and 3/32\" on the treble side at the 12th fret with some height remains at the saddle for a lower action if you so desire. Guitar will come in the original hard case.. And it sounds awesome as you would expect for a D28

The prior owner of the guitar owned it for many years. That is all I know of its history other than it was well cared for.

I will fully insure this but I cannot personally guarantee its safe arrival, I do my best to pack all instruments safe and sound but once it leaves my shop the carrier is liable for the guitar\'s safe arrival. The only way I can guarantee a guitar is if you pick it up locally at my shop in the upper Mid West.
