THIS IS AN ORIGINAL (NOT A REPRO I BOUGHT THIS IN A MURPHY\'S MART or TWO GUYS DEPT STORE MYSELF IN THE LATE 70s!) VINTAGE 1976 SPACE: 1999 EAGLE TRANSPORTER It is a SPACESHIP tie in to the 1975-77 TV Show.It is in ROUGH shape so I will call it a \"parts set\" though I have displayed it over the years due to the scarcity of these!It has numerous problems I inflicted to it back in the 3rd Grade, among them-The main green plastic frame of the toy is broken across behind the command module near the white storage area just in front of midship. Broken completely thru I have a piece of clear tape on it and might be epoxyed to be strong but it is BROKEN THRU.One \"fender\" is broken off and gone.One of the 4 engine funnels is broken off and gone on the rear of the ship.The chrome metal tube structure (trim) that wraps around the middle of the ship is all busted up (I have some of the pieces as the pictures show but they are just crumbling and so weak and brittle I doubt they will be useable bt I will include what I still have). ANd it shows considerable wear and dirt but the logos on both sides still look pretty good.I don\'t know how this compares to the \"DINKY\" English version other than they were usually metal and this one is made of VERY FLIMSY DELICATE PLASTIC so I would assume these did not survive nearly as well! Made in Hong Kong according to the imprint underneath it was licensed in 1976 by AZRAK HAMMWAY who seem to have distibuted nearly ALL the low end TV SHow toys of the 60s-late 70s, Star Trek, Lost In Space, Man From Uncle Six Million Dollar Man, Planet of the Apes etc. I\'ll give this one try, if nobody wants to offer/buy it I\'ll put it back in the collection so if you want this rare item for your collection, even with all it\'s flaws, don\'t miss it buy now!
