Vintage 40s 50s Satin Dress size Medium by Dorian:
This is an original 1940s 50s Gold dressThere are defects on the material and is missing the buttons so please keep in mind this dress is best suited for someone with sewing experiance and capable of upcyclingThere is a small tear in the material towards the front of skirt that is 1 inch long. The buttons also have been ripped off and damaged the material.So again, please keep this in consideration that some tailoring will be needed.
This dress is still in decent shape to upcycle or to be used for study or replica, and yes will need dry cleaning.
Has a collar with faux glass pearls and some are discolored.Has a vintage metal zipper in front.
Material is very thick and somewhat heavy in weight .
I highly suggest undergarments/slip as to protect the integrity and material of the dress.Would have probably been worn with a bullet bra and girdle.Dress is pictured with a petticoat not included in sale.I suggest a search on the brand to better appreciate the era and style.Is in fair condition (does not mean new) especially for costume use, I highly suggest dry cleaning on any vintage item to sanitize and dewrinkle.
