Up for sale is a Vintage 6\"Jorgenson No.126S C-Clamp With Protective Guard For Clamp Screw in good working condition. When electro-welding some of the sputtering of molten metal will strike and freeze upon the clamping screw of the clamp, thus rendering it useless. To avoid this condition guards have been devised to intercept the sputtering and prevent their reaching or contacting the screw or any of the operative part of the tool. This tool has two patent numbers #2221,326 & 2512,528 \"Pat. Nov. 12, 1940\" The guard was painted orange but I clean itso I could read the writing on it, there\'s still some paint on the inside of the guard as you can see inpic. #11.The condition shown in the pictures is the actual condition of the item.
