Vintage bamboo fishing rod / spinning rod with wood case. I have no history on this item and I don\'t know how old it is. Comes in the original unmarked all wood - tongue and groove case. The pieces of wood to make the case looks glued and on the bottom where the two pieces of wood are connected - looks tongue and groove. The hinges on the box are fine but one of the clasp on the front of the box has been replaced. The wood is in fine condition with no cracks but there is some scuffing. Very sturdy.

This is a 6 piece bamboo rod set. Sizes are approximate - The handle or piece with the cork is 15 3/4\", other pieces are 33\", 22 1/4\" ( this piece has a decal on it marked Gold Tiger with a tiger face on top of a piece of bamboo - there are 3 small spots of color missing from the decal & 3 pieces have an eye guide ? on the tip and they measure 32 1/4\", 32 1/2\" & 24 1/2\".

All of these pieces look in fine condition - I don\'t know if all the pieces are original but they all look the same. There are no cracks or breaks in this rod but there is some wear to the finish.
