Up for sale, we have a Vintage AK-47 Bayonet. It comes with a sheath and has the wire cutter.Sawtooth edge.Not sure if it isSoviet (Russian)or Bulgarian and not sure of the age. There are no marking that I could see. The blade is sharp and the handle is bakelite.The bladeis still covered brownish protectivegrease (no rust). Matching serial numbers.Soviet (Russian)AK-47 Kalashnikov Bayonets are therarest and the best quality made with the finest materials. The USSR ceased to existin 1991. Hard to find.It has a low serial number.
Knife bayonet for use with the 5.45 mm. Kalashnikov AK74 andwill also fit to the 7.62 mm AKM. USSR Soviet (Russian)issued this for all their AK series regardless of caliber.The biggest advantage these have is they have a heavy rear bolster (metal butt) so you can hammer with them without doing heavy damage to the knife. The first pattern AK bayonets lacked. USSR Soviet (Russian)bayonets will fit any AK with a bayonet lug. These have the \"sawback\" blade and the scabbard joins with the blade to be a wire cutter.
Brand New old stock may show slight signs of shelf wear or handling. The parts may have little scratches from storage but they are in excellent condition and ready for use!Fits all rifles with T-lug on gas block or front sight block. Comes complete with wire cutter, scabbard, and leather strap.Since I have more than one for sale you will not receive the one on the pictures but a similar or better one.
The army issue AK47 bayonet is pretty tough. These fine quality blades are drop-forged from the best high carbon steel for easy sharpening and superior edge-holding ability. The handle is not ordinary plastic. Even with the bakelite handles, they are very rugged. Handle is made of carbon steel and bakelite. The AK47 bayonet was first and foremost designed to be a compact electrically insulated wire-cutter with an efficient piercing/thrusting capability. The scabbard is made from the hard black plastic and carbon steel.
