For your consideration is a tool that opens and closes like a blacksmith tongs or an ice tongs. The way it is made is wrong for it get a good grip. It has two points, but they go in the wrong direction to be of much use. It is 100% steel. It is made of two pieces of steel (3 pieces, if you count the rivet that joins the two long pieces). It has a length of 27 1/2\". Closed as much as possible, the points are slightly more than 4 1/2\" apart. This tool is an old item that has been used. It is in as found condition and needs to be properly cleaned. It has some very mild pitting. Please, carefully examine the pictures, as the pictures are part of the description.
