Vintage Armin Trosser Wooden Coffee Bean Grinder, Post-WWII West Germany British: $24.50
Vintage Armin Trosser hand-crank coffee bean grinder in good condition and working order. This is a post-WWII table top model made in the British Zone of West Germany. It\'s a square wood box with metal grinding mechanism inside and a drawer at bottom to collect the ground coffee. Box has a metal cap on top that slides open (for the coffee beans) and a center crank handle with wood ball on the end. Box measures about 4 3/8\" by 4 3/8\" by 4 7/8\" tall; cap and crank add another 2 3/8\" in height; handle is 4 3/4\" long. There\'s an Armin Trosser logo on box front, and the bottom is printed \"Made in West-Germany / British Zone / 032187\". Weighs about 1 lb. 14 oz.Grinding mechanism is a bit squeaky, but does work. Cover slides easily and drawer fits evenly. (There are two metal springs inside that hold it in place.) Cap and crank handle have corrosion. Box top piece has a split in the wood at upper right corner; box bottom piece is loose and cracked at front corners where the nails have broken. (Nails at rear corners are secure.) Nails could be replaced; we leave that to the buyer. This is a cool addition to a kitchen or restaurant decor. Price includes shipping in the U.S.; extra cost for International delivery based on the country. Please send a message if you have a question, and please see our other listings.
