This is a vintage Koken barber chair from the early 1900s that I have owned since 1972 and have stored inside. It has not been used since 1993 and has since been stored in my basement. It was completely disassembled in the mid 1980s and was professionally re-chromed. The porcelain finish was scrubbed and cleaned and it was reupholstered in faux leather. There are no cracks or breaks. The hydraulics still work. The leg and foot rest are still in good shape and all of the joints move as they should.
