Up for sale is this Antique BerwoodEngineering Co., Type SL Ministry of Power Safety Lamp, 1871,

TypeSL Ministry of Power Safety Lamp 1871, stamped Berwood Engineering Co. Ltd,Victoria & Albert Works, 28 Abbey Street Birmingham 18. Measures approx16cm in height and is complete with glass and hanging hook. This lamp is complete;all the hardware is there, the glass shade is clear, clean and not cracked.

This vintage miners safety lamp by Berwoodengineering, is made of brass with a blued(?) Steel hood which has the maker’splaque is attached. Other than surface rust on the steel hood & scuff marksto the top made from the hanging hook it is in very good condition but thebrass may need a good polish & overall clean as its been unused for years .
