Very rare.....This is a super nice clean circa 1950\'s Harmony Monterey mandolin, withoriginal case. Very nice little player that has a great vintage appeal about it…solidinstrument. The only structural issue I can find is a rim glue joint that is loose right under the tailpiece screw. It is missing a bridge.
Please read all the details below that describe the condition. This one has a really nice logo displayed on the style=\"margin: 0in 0in 10pt;\">Headstocklogo in excellent condition.
Where back attaches to rim - near the tailpiece - there is about two inches where the rim glue joint is loose.It is solid as is and can be left alone or easily reglued. I see no other structural issues.
White binding on front.

All original parts including the Waverly black-button tuners
Original tuners in good condition and working fine.
Paint is in good condition all around with some light handling wear here and there; a couple paint chips and edge-wear on the back; minor headstock edge wear; good color and presents well.
Net seck / neck angle look fine. Fret condition is verygood…not a lot of wear.
Original pickguard is in good condition
Fretboard is in good condition
Original tailpiece is in working order; cover removes to install strings.
Light normal handling wear…in very good condition for itsage
See detail pics....there is a wear spot on the top surface close to the pickguard near F hole. There is a little bit of wear on the side of the neck where it joins the headstock on the treble side....presumably from a strap....it is smooth.
Very nice original case…it is solid and in working order.May be missing the cover on the inner storage compartment if there ever was one. Original handle and latches are in working order. One hinge was broken and has been replaced with a pro-installed leather hinge that allows the case to be fully functional.
A very nice little mandolin that just needs some strings anda bridge….very coolpiece with the original case!
