This is the first edition, early 1960\'s.A NMINT example of a great toy plane that has NEVER been flown.BOX IS POOR BUT ITS THE BEST EXAMPLE OF THIS ACTUAL TOY AIRPLANE THAT I COULD FIND.(Box condition notes are below but its in poor conditon,This is the box with the bullseye printed on the bottom.)
I say that the airplane is in NEAR mint condition due to the following reasons:The stickers have been applied(they still look good,unworn).The tires have flat spots on them from sitting in the box for 50 years.(very common to this toy)It still displays beautifully!Ths airplane plastic itself has no cracks or breaks.2 small areas of stress on top of the wheels pants, doesnt detract, its from sitting in the box, not from flight damage,very minor!This is the early version with 4 screws holding the body together.The canopy is complete and crystal clear with no cracks and NO YELLOWING!The rear small wheel is intact. Bomb is here.Both AIR SIRENS props are intact,unbroken. The antenna and both figures are here, in their original cello bag but it had a hole in it so i took the items out to photograph for you,,all 3 pieces are hard to find and the antenna has never been installed and is perfect. The plane itself looks fantastic for display, the motor has compression,it has never been fueled up or started.it comes with the original grip handle, an additional SKYLON handle,some string and a connecting ignition wire. box condition: THE BOX IS ROUGH WITH TAPE BARELY HOLDING IT TOGETHER IN PLACES AND HAS A RIPPED CELLO WINDOW AS PICTURED,HOWEVER AS YOU CAN SEEIT HAS PROTECTED THIS TOY LIKE A CHAMP OVER THE YEARS. IT HAD A SMALL EMPTY CAN OF FUEL INSIDE WHEN I FOUND THIS AND THT LEAKED OUT OVER THE YEARS CAUSING STAINING AND WARPING BUT EVEN WITHOUT THAT THE BOX LID IS TORN AND THE BOTTOM AND BOX INSERT ARE IN POOR FRAGILE CONDITION TOO.
