Up for sale is a vintage1960’sCraig 212 AC/DC powered transistorized mini-reel to reel portabletape deck recorder. Craig 212 where made between 1965-1968. I guarantee thisitem to work as I have replaced the two drive belts with new original belts, oiledall moving parts, cleaned the heads, cleaned capstan drive, cleaned the pinchroller, cleaned switches, and tested the unit forplayback.Tested the unit to play on batteries and on AC/DC power. Since no microphone is included did not test unit for recording. Included is a tapethat I recorded which alsoincludes the original Craig 212 marketing salespitch.Upon arrival if the unit does not work you can return at your expenseinSEVEN days (7) for a refund of your purchase price(will notrefund your return shipping cost). The battery compartment is clean and I would say unit is inexcellent condition. This Reel to Reel tape player was used in the early 60’sMission Impossible TV series. Peter Graves was given his “Mission Impossible”via this machine which would then “self-destruct in 5 seconds”.
