Here is a really nice vintage Visalia stock saddle made in San Francisco pre1950. These saddles are all HAND MADE –no machines were used. The leather isincredible and still soft – not dry or cracking. This has the typical California poppy handtooled pattern and just beautiful. Theseat is 15” and it has a 7” (medium/average) gullet. These saddles were built to LAST and here itis still useable. There are a few lightscratches – you can see everything in the photos. Some of the fleece underside has comeoff. I can leave it alone or if you wantI can cover it with faux fleece so it’s ready to ride. I will only do that if you ask and after itpaid for. Some people do not want avintage item changed. Up to you! This saddle had Beautiful handmade Brassstirrups. They have wood inside andshaped (hammered)brass coverings. I’venever seen anything like it – they’re beautiful!! On the back of the cantle is a huge sterlingsilver nameplate. It has the initialsMMcE engraved on it. The nameplate isalmost 5 ½ inches long and 2 ½ inches tall – it’s big and really pretty. This is a great piece of Western Americanathat you can’t just buy anywhere. It’s aBeautiful piece of art! Serial numberA29349. Comes with a fairly new Lariat holder, leather billet and leather latigo - no cinch.

Someone asked about the 15\" seat so I added a picture. The tape measure hits the stitching at 14 1/2 and the back of the saddle at 15\". I have sat in this saddle all day long and its a 15\". 14 1/2 would be too small for me. If you check with Circle Y they measure to the back of the seat not the seam. You decide!
