This is a very unique deer foot letter opener, made in Austria. This is a real authentic deer foot with a 6\" blade. The foot is about 5\". The part where the foot connects to the blade is a little off center, as you can see in the pictures. These were used by high society during the Victorian ages and showed theexotic taste that type of person would have. A sort ofstatussymbol, if you will.
