Description: For sale is a Vintage \"DETEX GUARDSMAN\" Security Guard Portable Check-In Clock that dates from Approx. 1950 I believe. For those that don\'t know how these work, A Security Guard (usually a night time Watchman) would carry this along with them during their route and use their key to \"check-in\". Like many of them, this one is missing the original key. But, there are actually MANY listings for replacement keys on . There really is because I checked. The Dimensions of this one are 6 1/2\" Diameter x 3\" Thick and it Weighs 6 Pounds. I am sure my photos will best further describe this item.
Please note the tear in leather in picture.
As I do not have a key I can not check if working, so am selling as is.
