For decades this model trumpet has served as the flagship among professional trumpet players, and once you play this horn, you will understand why. The sound is open and rich with a medium dark tone that works wonderfully with a variety of musical styles.The valves have a great feel to them with strong compression in the chambers for accuracy and projection. All slides are free and functional and this is a trumpet any professional player should cherish.
Cosmetically the trumpet is in above average condition for a 43 year old trumpet. There is normal wear of the finish, and evidence where minor dent removal was done in the past but there are no large dents or blaring concerns and most of the silver plating is nice ( see photos).
