Offered is an older (\'20\'s?) General Electric fan. The four blades come to 16" in diameter with a cage of 17+". The cast base has a wing nut for pivoting and locking, and the base has three holes through the bottom, so I\'m guessing this could also be mounted to the wall. There is a handle above the motor, cast with the halo surrounding the motor.

Condition is good, but with rust, as you can see. The cage and blades are true, with no dents to the cage and no nicks out of the blades. It looks as though all the screws are brass, as is a knob which seems to lock or unlock the oscillating feature. The paint is green, and gets progressively worse as you go down the base. The felt on the bottom is shot. The speed lever looks original and works as it should.

Given the condition of the cord, I ran this through its paces and shut it down after just a minute or two. I found that all three speeds worked and the oscillating feature got progressively faster as you go up in speed. No extra noises and no \'hot\' smell.

The brass plate tells us the fan is an AOU, form AK1, cat. #75425.

Buyer pays actual shipping, USPS parcel select. This will be an \'oversize 1\' package and weigh in at just over twenty pounds. If it\'s all the same with the buyer, I would like to take the cage and blades off and wrap them separately.
