Vintage 1976 Gibson firebird, (ser# 00248268) guitar plays perfectly, has a lot of playware scratches scuffs esc. all honest playware, the neck is straight frets show some ware and still have a lot of life left, the bridge pickup has been modified the route was profesonally done the holes for the mini humbucker were left if you wanted to return it to stock, the bridge pickup in it is an early 80s Jackson USA J90-C bridge model, the neck pickup is original along with the electronics, an extra hole has been added to the cavity, also one in the back see pics., the strap buttons and screws are gone, the tail piece is an old vintage lightweight compensated wrap around type, the tuners all tune smoothly, also the pots all in great shape smooth no crackling, there are no cracks repairs or breakage, the pickup selector switch is shot and will need to be replaced, it is set in the middle position, Ive been using the pots to blend the two pickups, has a very clean to gritty blusey tone and vibe, the guitar really shines on slide has that very gutsy tone, this is a great guitar, stays in tune, the new owner will be very happy with this, please see all pictures for more detail, happy to answer any questions you may have, price includes shipping and handling lower 48 USA shipping only, I do use the global shipping program, guitar will be carefully packaged and shipped with insurance, thanks and Happy Holidays,.......................Note: this is a vintage guitar and is being sold as is.
