Vintage Wagner Ware Griswold #8 Dual-Logo5 QuartDutch Oven Roaster\"Made in U.S.A\"
Dimensions: 10.25\" Across The Rim @ Outer Edges and 4.5\" Deep
This dutch oven sits flat on a countertop and doesn\'t spin. It has been washed andis generally clean. However, it does havesome minor cooked-onresidue nearthe bail handle connection on one side. I also haven\'t oiled it,so you can seewhat you are getting. I haven\'tscrubbed it intensively. It\'s better to let the newowner decide howto proceed.
This dutch oven has the Wagner Ware trademark at 12 o\'clock on the bottom and the small Griswold logowith the cross inside a double-circle at the center of the bottom. I am not a Griswold logo expert, butthis is obviously from the period when Griswold and Wagner were owned by the same company. It is myunderstanding that the last year the Griswold trademark logo appeared is 1973--so this dutch oven isat least that old. Being at least 44 years old, this oven\'s been around awhile. But it still dates froma relatively late period in Griswold history.
