Vintage GUILD GUITAR F20 NT 1957 With Case F-20:
$560.00

Up for sale is this vintage Guild F20 N.T. Guitar.

If I understand how the serial numbers work, it was made in 1957 -- the tag says it was made in Hoboken, New Jersey (first year these were made there). Correct me if I\'m wrong! The serial number is 43894.

Not sure if the case is original. It\'s a hard case, has four brass latches (one with a keyhole but no key). The case has some damage -- looks like water damage on the top corner. See pics.

I\'m not sure how to classify the condition of the guitar. It has some damage-- a missing string, looks like some superficial cracking on the front of the body (see pictures) some scratches, etc. but then if it really was made in 1957 is say it\'s survived pretty well!

Please feel free to contact me with questions or if you want more info.

I was able to get picture hosting and added several pictures below, please take a look.

Thanks for looking!

Hello again. I\'ve received a few emails indicating that this could not be a 50\'s Guild due to the logo on the headstock, which wasn\'t used until the 60\'s. But the serial number seems to be an anomaly. My best guess-- having been educated by you-- is that this is from 1965, because Guild moved from Hoboken the next year. Still a guess though. If you are reading this I\'m guessing you know 10 times more about these guitars than I do. Thanks! Sorry for the uncertainty. Good luck
