This old Archtone had a few issues when we got it. The neck was loose, there were three parallel cracks on the back, one loose seam on the front of the bass side, missing tuner bushings and nut, and the bridge had been butchered in an attempt to lower the action. We took that as a challenge. The neck has been professionally re-set, we added a bone nut and new rosewood adjustable compensating bridge, replaced the tuner bushings, and repaired the cracks. The frets definitely show some wear but have plenty of life left so we just cleaned them. The result is a great playing, good sounding guitar with plenty of vintage Mojo. It\'s currently strung with D\'Addario light gauge flatwound strings and the action and intonation are excellent. If you\'ve been looking for one of these but were put off by the idea of restoring it to playing condition this one\'s for you. It\'s ready to go right out of the box. Jazz, blues, Americana, you name it, this guitar will do it. No case but we\'ll ship it well packed in a quality gig bag. Thanks for looking.
