This guitar is a great player. Recent neck reset, new frets, and a new bone nut. It plays clean all down the fret board. It is the rare late model with the thinner neck. Pinless bridge has been replaced with a pin bridge. The plastic head stock plate was disintegrated and it was replaced by a mohogany head plate. new machine heads. Cosmetically I consider it above average for a vintage Harmony. A repaired crack on the bass upper bout and another on the lower bass bout. What appears to be surface cracks on the lower treble bout. I personally do not get concerned about cracks in vintage guitar tops. Also has some the dings on the top caused by a tailpiece that was on it when I got it.Tone is great to my ears. I can count over 30 growth rings per inch in the spruce top. You cannot get wood like this today. I don't play out anymore and it's time to let some stuff go and let the next generation have some fun. Besides, I have some great sounding ugly ones. Currently, it has light gauge D'addario's with a 13 on the e string. I find that most of these Harmonys sound better with a heavier e string. Like all Harmoniy's the nut width is 1-3/4 inches.
