Vintage Ibanez FIREBIRD NECK + TEISCO K3L BODY Glued Together Project Japan MIJ
Body is a vintage 1960\'s era Teisco K3L \"Sharkfin\" body in sunburst. Body has a few dings, dents, scratches, etc but is in good condition overall. No other parts included with body other than the glued in neck.
Neck looks to be an Ibanez Firebird type neck. Original tuners (not included in this listing) were the Ibanez \"Star\" tuners and there are no other holes on the headstock to indicate that these were changed so I\'m fairly certain that this neck is/was from an Ibanez or similar made guitar from the same Japanese factory that made Ibanez Firebird guitars. I am guiessing the neck is an early to mid 1970\'s lawsuit era neck.
The neck was glued to the body but it doesn\'t appear as though the neck was shaved at all so I\'m uncertain if any other mods were done to the neck or body. There are some paint chips around the neck and a small area on the bass side corner heel where binding has chipped. Neck is straight and truss rod works. Frets have some grooves in them but seems to have some life left.
The vintage Ibanez Firebird guitars usually sell for over $1,000.
I bought this guitar to use parts from the K3L for other Teisco projects I have going. Before I took the parts off that I needed I took this video. The video is basically me playing with a Nano Big Muff that I just received but you\'ll see that the neck joined with this body was actually playable and the neck feels real good.

I am selling this as a project/parts guitar.
