Original ca 1940s-1950s IBM Type 4030-2 double projector fire alarm or air raid siren. Plate has “International Business Machine Corporation, 590 Madison Avenue, New York 22 NY MADE IN USA”. Shows that this is a Type 4030-2 and is rated for 12 ac volts, 60 cycles. Made of very heavy red painted metal, this has both of the two original horns. Serial # on the cast top is “715720”. Horn measures approximately 18” long, 8 off the wall, and approximately 6\" tall.
Overall, it is in very good condition, everything is intact. However, I do not have the means to test the horn. The person I purchased it from bought it from a school sale. You are offerding as-is, untested. There is some white paint splatter on one side that can probably be cleaned off. There is also a double-gang housing connected to the back that can probably be removed if desired.
