The Ideal Creel. Vintage 1937 aluminum basket for holding caught fish. Great design and highly unusual material for a creel. Very good condition although it has been used. Some minor dents and some pitting (see detailed photos). No major damage or parts that do not function. Lower drawer has interior pressure latch that works.Top and bottom brass buttons released top lids. Remains of original label still visible on top with patent number. Engraved 1\" measure on the lid. Pierced sides for vents. Inside compartment has working cover. Overall condition is very good with the worst spot on the bottom back (see photo). No holes or breaks in the case. Unusual modern streamlined design for 1937. The canvas strap is not original and has been replaced with new material. The creel measures 12\" wide, 9\" high and 6\" deep.
